Christian McCaffrey thinks Travis Kelce is 'the coolest guy ever' after NYC encounter
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey revealed an untold story of an offseason encounter in New York City with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce that made him believe he is "the coolest guy ever."
McCaffrey, 27, made an appearance on the most recent episode of "B Scar TV Podcast" with host Brennan Scarlett. The show was recorded during the 49ers' Bye Week.

Among many other conversations, McCaffrey told the Kelce story, which starts with CMC stating that he can blend in anywhere, so it's strange when people recognize him.
During the offseason, when Kelce hosted Saturday Night Live, McCaffrey was in NYC on the corner of Grand Central Station when he heard someone calling his name.
McCaffrey stated how he looked up to see Kelce driving by in a black car while pumping his hand out the window and screaming "C-MAC!"

What makes the story even better is, as McCaffrey explained, the pair had only met once before, so there was really no reason for Kelce to be so hyped about seeing him. C-MAC's reaction was to simply yell back "Yeah!"
"I don't know him at all," McCaffrey said. "I know him zero. I knew him as much as I know anyone else that I've only met once"
The experience occurred shortly after Kelce won his second Super Bowl with the Chiefs and McCaffrey experienced a postseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kelce probably didn't know it at the time, but it looks like that interaction might have made McCaffrey's day a little better.
